Bordering the ecopista - a bicycle path without any motorized traffic - is this nature house. Located in the middle of the wine region of the Dão, the nature house is a completely detached, rebuilt, old quinta of partly more than 100 years old, on one hectare of land, overlooking mountains and forests. Further along the Dinha there are river beaches where it is wonderful to swim. Surrounded by trees and quiet and 20 kilometers from Viseu, it offers all the possibilities to be active, but also to relax. Stores and restaurants are within five kilometers. The apartment on the first floor has a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a separate, large, very well-equipped kitchen/dining room that is shared with possible other tenants, beautiful views and plenty of rest. The nature house is very spacious with a large sleeping area and has a large terrace outside where you can enjoy the shade and evening. Because there is no fence and height differences, this house is less suitable for children. The apartment on the ground floor is also for rent and can accommodate two (extra) persons. To be found under house code 30271. Also the main house further on with two bedrooms, kitchen and two living/sitting rooms is for rent and can be found under house code 30135.
Nature and surroundings
For guests, there is a swimming pool (saltwater, 12 x 4 meters) with sun terrace. Furthermore, there is the ecopista. Almost 49 kilometers long undisturbed bike/walking path on a paved former railroad line. Largely along the river Dão, which not only gives beautiful views, but also chances to swim. The ecopista makes for a perfect place to train for cycling, running, or just walking or biking and swimming at a river beach. The nature house is ideally located for these activities. Further within 30 car minutes is the mountains of the Caramulo, where hiking is wonderful. An hour's drive away is the core of the Serra da Estrela and also an hour's drive away is the sea. The beautiful city of Viseu and the attractive town of Caramulo are within 30 minutes by car or within two hours by bike. The village of Tondela itself is five minutes away by car.
