A wonderful place to stay for anyone who wants to hike, bike, fish, hunt or canoe. In short, a great nature house for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful Jamtland in Sweden. The nature house is located 50 kilometers northwest of Strömsund on the 342 Vildmarksvägen (Wilderness Road). This 500 kilometer route goes from Strömsund via Gädedde over the plateau "Stekenjokk" through the mountains of southern Lapland to Vilhelmina and then via Dorotea back to Strömsund. On the site there are three nature houses. The cottage is fully equipped. The kitchen is luxuriously equipped by the presence of a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Furthermore, the house has two bedrooms with three single beds each. There is also one stuga with three beds and one stuga with two beds. There is a service building in front of these stugas with cooking facilities and sanitary facilities for common use.

In the area there are more than 300 kilometers of paved roads for cycling in the Wildernessraod area. There are also a few hundred kilometers of good gravel roads to practice the mountain bike sport and enjoy the beautiful nature area. There are marked hiking trails in the area, the maps for which are available at the tourist offices. Also along the gravel roads it is adventurous and beautiful hiking through the beautiful nature of Jamtland, both summer and winter. Stable and fully equipped kayaks can be rented by arrangement. There is also the possibility to do a tour of one or more days to go fishing or a guided beaver safari. It is good fishing in the Flåsjöns fishing area. The lake is about 40 kilometers long and with it many small rivers that flow into the lake. In winter the area is perfect for ice fishing. They have the equipment to rent for that as well. Fishing licenses are available from the rental companies. There are several hundred kilometers of snowmobile trails through the forests and mountainous area of the Wildernessraod in Southern Lapland. There are several companies specializing in snowmobile rentals for several days or day trips. Addresses are available at tourist offices.
