Nature house in Abcoude

This is a unique nature house on the idyllic little river the Gein and is located among the farmlands, amidst the greenery, near Amsterdam. It features four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a panoramic view of the Gein, a living room with reading corner and ample seating, an upstairs room set up as a dining room. The fenced garden of 250 m2 is accessible via a private bridge next to the house. The garden is equipped with terrace with gazebo, barbecue, fire pit, fruit trees and (play) lawn. The kitchen is fully equipped including American fridge with freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, Nespresso, kettle, table and chairs. The beds are two meters ten long and equipped with comforter and pillow. Bed linen is available separately. The beds can be placed as single or double.

This nature house is located in the middle of the farmlands on the idyllic little river the Gein, which meanders between Driemond and Abcoude. This is where Mondrian painted and Nescio wrote his stories. Besides overwhelming natural beauty of the Gein, Amsterdam is within easy reach. The center can be reached by car or train in 20 minutes. On the farm itself you can visit the regional store with its tea garden and terrace for coffee and cake, lunch or drinks. The village of Abcoude is three kilometers away and has two supermarkets, as well as two butchers, bakers and a greengrocer. The small center has a number of nice eateries. On the Hoogstraat are several nice stores. On Thursdays there is a market. From the yard you can enjoy a nice walk around the Gein. Or via the Velterslaantje to Fort Nigtevecht and by the bicycle bridge you can walk to the lake or to Nigtevecht. Next to the nature house is a small bridge over the Gein. It is situated on the cycle junction network for beautiful cycle routes.
