Always wanted to sleep in a mobile home? You can! This nature house is located on a secluded part of our garden where goats, horses and bunnies live nearby. The mobile home is tastefully and lovingly decorated. There is a sturdy bunk bed (2x2 persons) and a small but complete kitchenette. On the veranda you can enjoy the evening sun. Next to the mobile home is a picnic table, garden chairs, a wood stove and a cooking pot over the fire to make your own stew or a delicious soup. Private bathroom with shower and refrigerator is within walking distance. For relaxation it is possible to book the hot tub and/or sauna. These are then available to you privately for part of the day. You can also rent our Finnish grill hut. These facilities can also be booked by our other guests, based on availability. Note: from 20-07 till 04-08 2025 we do not serve breakfast.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the beautiful Drenthe village of Roswinkel. Here you can still experience the silence, see the farmers working the land, see the many pheasants, egrets and swallows fluttering around and if you are lucky meet a deer. The village has only 805 inhabitants and is located a few kilometers from Germany and the province of Groningen. The beautiful forests of Emmen with their dolmens, but also the beautiful nature of Ter Apel, Sellingen and the Bargerveen provide a special and varied cycling and walking landscape. Stayed here for a weekend with my dog Fox. We received a friendly welcome and explanation. The pipo and sanitary facilities are clean and cozy. What I didn't understand is why the refrigerator was in the sanitary facilities instead of in the pipo itself, which is quite a walk from the mobile homes. Personally I found this somewhat inconvenient. In the mobile homes I found it very dark, because the mobile homes stand against bushes and under trees. Fortunately, there is cozy lighting and also a delicious stove. For a supermarket just take the car, because the village itself does not have one. The beautiful nature and quaint villages nearby are easy to reach by car and bike. Walking with the dog from this place is only possible along the road, which is be careful, because there is quite fast driving. For families with children this will be a fantastic place!

Gelukkig is er gezellige verlichting en ook een heerlijk kacheltje.
Voor een supermarkt even de auto pakken, want het dorp zelf heeft dit niet.
Ook de prachtige natuur en leuke dorpjes in de buurt zijn prima met auto en fiets te bereiken.
Wandelen met de hond is vanaf deze plek alleen mogelijk langs de weg, wat uitkijken is, omdat er best hard gereden word. Beter met de auto een mooi gebied opzoeken in de omgeving.
