Nature house in Roswinkel

Have you always wanted to sleep in a mobile home? You can here! This nature house is located in a secluded corner of our garden, where goats, horses, and rabbits live nearby. The mobile home is charming and has been decorated with love. It features a sturdy bunk bed (sleeps 2x2 people) and a small but fully equipped kitchenette. On the porch, you can relax and enjoy the evening sun. Next to the mobile home, you’ll find a picnic table, garden chairs, a small wood stove, and a cooking pot so you can make your own stew or a delicious soup over the fire. Private bathroom facilities with a shower and a small refrigerator are within walking distance. For relaxation, you can book the hot tub and/or sauna for an additional fee. You’ll then have them to yourself for half a day. You can also rent our Finnish grill hut. These facilities can also be reserved by our other guests, so availability may vary.

The nature house is located in the beautiful village of Roswinkel in Drenthe. Here, you can still experience the silence, watch farmers working in the fields, see the many pheasants, egrets, and swallows flitting about, and—if you’re lucky—encounter a roe deer. The village has only 805 residents and is located just a few kilometers from Germany and the province of Groningen. The magnificent forests of Emmen, with their hunebeds, as well as the beautiful natural landscapes of Ter Apel, Sellingen, and the Bargerveen, offer a unique and varied landscape for cycling and hiking. In addition to the stunning natural surroundings, there’s also a wealth of cultural activities and excursions for people of all ages. In short, it’s a great base from which to explore Drenthe, Groningen, and Germany. Rust & Reuring is nestled among the farmlands. No buses run here. Still, you can reach us easily by public transportation. Take the train (or express bus) to Emmen. If I’m available, I’d be happy to pick you up; otherwise, the hub taxi or OV-fiets are good options.
