Nature house in Biezenmortel

Since we live in this beautiful location and want you to enjoy it too, we have two nature houses available for rent. From the covered terrace with its adjoining garden, you have a view of the nature reserve. You can walk right into the nature reserve of the De Loonse and Drunense Duinen National Park. Want to bring your own horse on vacation? That’s now possible, too. We rent out four horse stalls. For a small fee, you can get a permit that allows you to take a lovely ride through the national park. In addition to the nature houses, the owners also operate a nature campground. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, the houses are situated so that you won’t be bothered by the campground. If you’re a family with children, they can enjoy the play areas at the campground. And in the evening, searching for animal tracks—such as those of roe deer, foxes, and badgers—is, of course, great fun.

The nature houses are located in a beautiful area for biking and hiking. There are several nature reserves in the vicinity of the nature houses, including, of course, the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. This is the largest sand drift in Europe. You’ll also find the De Brand nature reserve, De Leemputten, the Oisterwijkse Vennen, and the Kampina. Natuurmonumenten is restoring old ponds to the landscape behind the property. If you’d like to explore charming towns or villages, Helvoirt is close to Den Bosch, Tilburg, Vught, Oisterwijk, Heusden, and many more delightful villages. The Brabants Museum, St. John’s Cathedral, and the Binnen Dieze boat tour are fun attractions in Den Bosch. Tilburg is home to the Textile Museum, the Reptile Museum, and the Nature Museum. Waalwijk is home to the Shoe Museum. There are several amusement parks, such as Efteling, Beekse Bergen, and Klimbos Duinoord. And if you enjoy visiting local shops, there are plenty of them selling vegetables, fruit, cheese, asparagus, and farm-fresh ice cream. The rental companies have all kinds of brochures on various attractions. In short: there’s plenty to do in this area.
