The owners rent out this nature house on a 2.4-hectare property, located about 100 meters from their own home. The house is completely private, situated on a 2.4-hectare lot, half of which is forest and the other half a garden. The entrance to the cottage is at the back, overlooking your own wooded garden. At the front is the front yard, where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful, sweeping views. The cottage is equipped with every luxury and comfort. The prices listed in this ad are based on two adults. Guests traveling with a baby may bring a crib to use in the spacious bedroom at no extra charge (a crib is not provided at the cabin). Next to the cottage is a parking space for one car. Two simple bicycles (not electric) are available free of charge.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located between the villages of Vierlingsbeek, Overloon, Maashees, and Holthees. The beautiful St. Mary’s Chapel in Holthees, dating from 1464, is within walking distance of the nature house, as are the Maas River and the De Maasheggen nature reserve. From the nature house, there are many well-known hiking, biking, and mountain biking trails, such as the Pieterpad, the Overloonse Duinen, and the Liberty Route. By taking the ferry across the Maas River, you can hike or bike in the De Maasduinen nature reserve. Between Holthees and Overloon lies 't Schaartven, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the summer. For golf enthusiasts, there are beautiful golf courses near Geijsteren and Overloon. About a 10-minute drive away are the larger towns of Venray and Boxmeer, featuring shops, a theater, a movie theater, restaurants, and cafés. The village of Overloon is home to the War Museum, the ZooParc, and one of the best ice cream parlors in the Netherlands. Germany is just a stone’s throw away.

Ruim huisje, alles is goed verzorgd, smaakvol ingericht met goed meubilair. Rondom een ruime tuin, een heerlijk terras en vanaf het terras uitzicht op bos. Al met al heerlijk om tot rust te komen.
Het gebied noordelijk van Holthees is echt landelijk met name de Maasheggen en langs de Maas. Aan de Limburgse kant van de Maas liggen de Maasduinen met heide, zandverstuivingen en meren. Prachtig wandel en fietsgebied. Ga met de auto vooral van de snelweg af en zoek kleine weggetjes.
