In this nature house you will come to rest. The nature house is cozy cozy for four people. Downstairs is a bathroom with shower and sink. There is also a toilet with a sink. In the living/dining room there is a double sofa, two armchairs and a dining table with four chairs. In the kitchen there is a fridge/freezer and oven. The nature house is located on a dirt road overlooking the Holterberg. From the nature house you walk and cycle along the many forest paths and dirt roads to the National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug with its beautiful forests and heathland. Directly from the nature house you will find bike paths with cycling routes, mountain bike routes and horse trails. Next to the nature house is the famous petting zoo Dondertman, where you get free access as a guest. Here children can cuddle with the animals, go down the slide, go-karting, take a pony ride and a tour with the covered wagon. Horseback riding is possible at the riding school, they provide outdoor rides over the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Within cycling distance is the Natuurdiorama Holterberg with the largest collection of European animal species. In summer, the outdoor pool Twenhaarsveld is ideal. There is a large slide and a 25-meter pool with diving board. Bicycles can be rented from bicycle store Jan Stam in Holten, the bikes are then delivered to the cottage.
