Nature and surroundings
This region is not called "Tuscany of Central Europe" for no reason. You can enjoy a very pleasant micro-climate with beautiful, dry summers and a sunny autumn that the Poland name the golden season. A rolling, romantic landscape with alternate fields, hollow roads, forests, dozens of ponds, rocks and waterfalls. In between you'll find pitoresque villages where nothing really changed over the last 100 years. With luck, you will see deer, foxes and wild boar on your walks. Storks like to build nests in the area. At the edge of the valley, the Giant Mountains, the smallest high mountain of Europe with imposing bald crustaceans and alpine vegetation. In winter it is a popular skiing area, during the summer you can go on the challenge to go to the Sneeuwkop and explore from there hut to hut, the 40 kilometer long mountain range. There are well-maintained hiking, cycling and mountain trails everywhere. The region is not only a beautiful nature reserve, but also has a rich cultural past. At 15 kilometers, the town of Jelenia Gora with its historic market square, beautiful staircases and many restaurants and terraces. Karpacz, a mountain town, is found seven miles and the rest of the region is dotted with medieval castle ruins, beautifully renovated castles, abbeys and country houses, many of which are visited. So you can say that it is a paradise for hikers, but also for cyclists, mountain bikers and people who want to keep calm and just relax.
