Local business owners are within walking distance in the village, where bicycles and e-bikes are available for rent, making it easy to climb the hills. There is a charging facility for your e-bike and private parking but the cottage is also well served by public transport. Also the nearby cultural cities such as Maastricht, Aachen or Liege. Nature and surroundings
The natural beauty surrounding this nature house invites numerous activities, get moving and marvel at what the outdoors does to you. Just beyond the cottage begins the hiking trail that leads through a hollow road, where there are also the homes of badgers and foxes, towards the upper slope forests. Sometimes you can also spot deer and wild pigs there. In five minutes you walk to the bakery, butcher or supermarket in the village, where there are also restaurants and cafes with waterfront terraces. Trout fishing water is 300 meters from this nature house or you can fish (with license) on the Geul. Before you know it during your trip you already set foot in Belgium (Ardennes) or Germany (Eifel), where as in this region burgundian people live who love the good life with cultural village festivals and cozy together. The nature house is equipped with information folders for making the nicest trips.
