Our yard is a nice place where the old summer house has been made into a lovely cottage for 2 persons or a family of up to 4. The nature house has a bedroom, shower, toilet and cozy "living" kitchen. Wake up with a delicious breakfast basket that we are happy to bring. At the cottage is a small terrace. In the yard is a cozy inn where you can enjoy delicious Green Heart apple pie, a thick sandwich with farm cheese and good coffee and tea. It is good to relax in the sunshine in the beautiful courtyard. Regularly the pizza oven goes on and you are welcome to join us.
Nature and surroundings
On the Nieuwkoopse Plassen, a beautiful piece of nature in South Holland, you will find our yard. Near the beautiful ribbon village of Aarlanderveen, in the middle of the Green Heart. You imagine yourself in an old Dutch painting. The farm lies 4 meters below the normal Amsterdam level. The polder is drained by the only working Four-Wheel Mill in the world(!). In just 30 minutes from Utrecht you can reach this nature house. Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Woerden and Gouda can also be reached in half an hour. Discover the relaxed life on this beautiful farm from 1790. In the yard of over 2 hectares, it seems as if time has stood still. There are chickens, sheep, pigs, cows, rabbits, cats and dogs Willem and Piet. In the spring there are lambs. Not only are the views amazing, but it is also possible to take a trip on a whisper boat, sailboat, canoe or sup. There is also plenty for hikers and cyclists to do around the Nieuwkoop lakes.
