A gem of a nature spot right in the heart of the Netherlands. The nature house is located on an estate amidst a great diversity of natural beauty. Unique because of its authentic appearance. With much love, the landlord has brought back the natural details in this cottage, long ago transferred from the Hoge Veluwe. The authenticity and simplicity amid the forest and the animals that live on this estate give you the feeling of being temporarily detached from a busy society. The interior is very cozy with two large balconies. The landlady loves atmosphere and beautiful details, which is reflected in the interior. Under the large balcony is a sauna. Cost is €7 per person per sauna visit. The nature house is suitable for people who need peace, stillness, reflection and space. It is also suitable for writers who want to shape their creativity in the right atmosphere, for entrepreneurs and managers who consciously choose a 'healthy' time out, want to recharge and get inspired for a week. The cottage is located on an estate where several animals also live. The nature house has its own entrance and fence.
Nature and surroundings
On the transition from the Utrechtse Heuvelrug to Gelderse Vallei lie the estates of Den Treek-Henschoten and 't Heihuis. This vast area of forests, nature, agriculture and heathland covers almost 2200 hectares. Den Treek-Henschoten estate is one of the largest private estates in the Netherlands. You will notice this by the endless space to walk in a very diverse nature area around the nature house. In the Henschotermeer you can swim, run around the lake or relax on the beach during hot summer days. From the nature house you step right into the forest and walk within 15 minutes to the impressive Pyramid of Austerlitz. The nature house is a place where many guests came to rest, romance was experienced and time stood still for a moment.
