Nature house in Wapserveen

How cool is this! A new, sustainable, six/eight-bed wellness nature lodge. This architectural nature house is a special and somewhat Scandinavian-tinged accommodation where, as a guest, you can get reacquainted with the pure and authentic vacation feeling without sacrificing comfort and luxury. The atmosphere and appearance exude nature, not only because of the fantastic location but also because of the character of the lodge in combination with the sustainable wellness elements you can actively enjoy. The lodge is equipped with a soapstone wood stove and geothermal heat that heats in winter and cools in summer.There is a double bedroom with separate bathroom and another double bedroom with ensuite shower and sanitary facilities and a loft with two sleeping/bed cabinets with four sleeping places for children. This makes the nature house also suitable for groups of eight (four children). There is a wood-fired hot tub and Finnish sauna, making for a relaxing stay in the Drenthe countryside! The deluxe check-in/check-out (see additional costs) consists of a sheet set, towel set, kitchen linen, service charges, bed-making for the master bedroom and the last dishes before departure will be cleared out for you. There is a free WiFi zone at the reception (note: no WiFi in the lodges themselves, but 4G coverage for your cell phone). This lodge can also be booked for 4,6 or 8 people.

The nature house is located at the originally farming ribbon village of Wapserveen in Southwest Drenthe. The 7.5 hectare site is separated in the middle by a forest. Behind this forest lie the nature lodges overlooking the natura 2000 area the Holtingerveld. From their own grounds you can walk straight into this beautiful nature reserve, which is managed by Natuurmonumenten and Staatsbosbeheer. In addition, the region has three national parks: the Drents Friese Wold between Appelscha and Diever, the Dwingelderveld near Dwingeloo and the wetlands of Weerribben-Wieden between Ossenzijl and Giethoorn. In addition to nature, there is also much to discover culturally in Southwest Drenthe and there is a wealth of typical Drenthe heritage to admire.
