Also the old towns of Viseu and Coimbra, are nearby and the charming center and market of the former you must have visited. But also cities like Porto and Figueira da Foz (beach) are within 1 to 2 hours' drive, as are the beach (Praia de Mira) and seaside Aveiro. The area offers various possibilities for all kinds of sporting activities, such as canoeing, hiking, cycling and mountain biking. From Terra de Iguanas you can easily reach the EcoPiste do Dao bike path.
