About this nature house

This rural hut is an authentic built out of natural stone in the mountains between Parme and Cinque Terre, at the crossroads oft he province of Tuscany, Liguria and Emiglia Romagna. The holiday house, surrounded by four hectares of private land with predominantly chestnuts trees and a variety of rivulets, lies at an altitude of 500m in the Valley of Monte Molinatico (with a height of 1552m). Here you can find all privacy and space to wander around in the unspoiled forest or to take a refreshing swim in the private swimming pool of 10 x 5 m. The house consists of 2 floors, where only the upper floor can be seen from the front side. The upper floor consists of a large room with sitting area, dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, you have direct access to the veranda/porch with a stunning view over the valley.  The ground floor has three 2-person bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and separate shower and toilet. Overall comfort is guaranteed as well as wireless internet and espresso machine free of charge.

Nature and surroundings

The rural hut lies in Baselica, a little hamlet consisting of a pizzeria, a church and different houses spread out in the mountains. Baselica is part of the community of Borgo Val di Taro. Borgo Val di Taro lies at a distance of 10km and here you can find several facilities such as a swimming pool, a hospital, a station, plenty of shops and nice terraces. The region is mainly known for the Funghi Porcini but as part of the province of Parma, it is also known for the famous Parma-ham and Parmesan cheese. With a great variety of restaurants, you can try all different local specialities to your heart´s content. The area still hasn´t been discovered by the mass tourism industry but still, it is not far away from some of the touristic attractions. From Borgo Val di Taro you can take a train to the famous Cinque Terre. The train also stops in Monterosso al Mare, where you can reach one of Italy´s most beautiful beach in only a few steps.
