Enjoy the outdoors, nice walks or bike rides. This nature house is ideally located on the edge of the Utrecht Hill Ridge, in the quiet area between Doorn and Leersum. The nature house is detached and is located on Hofstede Katwinkel. You have your own private terrace with unobstructed views of garden and nature. A little further on are sheep and cows. The cottage has a cool look, with white walls and light wooden furniture and is equipped with all modern conveniences such as microwave, dishwasher, central heating and wifi. The cottage is spacious (± 58 m2) and recently completely refurbished. The kitchen and bathroom have also been renewed.
Nature and surroundings
When you go out of the gate, you come directly on the Gerrit Achterbergpad. The cottage is located between hiking nodes 25 and 26 and close to well-known long-distance hiking trails such as 'the Trekvogelpad', the Utrechtpad and the Gelukkigerwijspad. . At five minutes cycling is cycling junction eight and the national cycling route LF4. At the end of the Buntlaan are the forests of the National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug, with marked hiking and cycling routes. On the other side Sandenburg estate and the castles of the Utrecht lust warande. Nearby is also golf club Anderstein (Maarsbergen), 27 holes. There are also many other unique activities, such as a visit to the museum of Huis Doorn, the residence of Emperor Wilhelm II in the First World War. Or the Von Gimborn arboretum, a park with many thousands of tree and shrub species from all parts of the world. In Doorn you will find stores and restaurants. Nearby stations are Maarn and Driebergen/Zeist.
