Cozy and spacious nature house with every comfort, suitable for two to nine people (with possibility of an extra baby crib). In this restored authentic nature house in the yard of a farm from 1749 you can enjoy a wonderful vacation. Since the renovation, the nature house is well insulated and equipped with underfloor heating. From the moment you enter, you experience the very spacious living room as a warm family room with a cozy sitting area and a large living table, where the whole company can gather around for meals or to play games. There are four bedrooms. Three of these cozy bedstead-sized bedrooms are located on the ground floor, each in its own corner of the house. The fourth bedroom has three beds and is located upstairs. The comfortable box-spring beds are neatly made up when you arrive, usually set up as double beds, but on request they can all be set up separately. All rooms are freshly ventilated with tilt/turn windows and, if desired, well heated. The kitchen is fully equipped - with dishwasher, of course - and there are nice sanitary facilities.
Nature and surroundings
This location offers you generous opportunities for conviviality, rest and relaxation. Around the house run chickens, whose eggs you may eat. In the meadow you will see friendly sheep (with lambs every spring) and if the season is right, you can enjoy the fruit from the fruit garden. The large lawn in front of the house is reserved for you, garden furniture is provided. For children there is a large trampoline. In the summer the landlords put up a swimming pool and for the little ones there is a small pool. There is also a wagon and other toys and for older children the little forest across the street is an adventurous playground. The beautiful surroundings offer endless possibilities. Walking or cycling on the Holterberg (Sallandse Heuvelrug), a covered wagon ride in the Borkeld, swimming in the new pool in Markelo, a donkey ride in the Markelo area, shopping in Zutphen, Deventer, Hengelo and Enschede, enjoy characteristic places like Lochem, Delden, the art town of Diepenheim (with its many galleries and museum of modern art), Twickel estate and many other castles and parks around Diepenheim and Delden. This is just a sampling of the many possibilities.
