Nature house in Zvolen - Kralova

A comfortable country house in a unique and quiet private valley in the wilderness of central Slovakia. From the nature house, you can look out over the meadows where horses graze and the endless forests teeming with roe deer, red deer, and wild boars. The cottage is located on a property with three other houses. One of the three houses is permanently occupied by the property owners; the second house is a small cottage that can also be rented; and the third house is this nature house. This spot is very popular among people who love nature, peace and quiet, animals, and farm life, as well as with families with children, who can run around freely and play outside here. The cottage offers the comforts of a city home in the heart of nature.The nature house has two floors and four bedrooms with a total of eight beds, two bathrooms, and an open-concept kitchen with a dining and living area. From the dining and living area, you can step right out onto the terrace with a view of the valley and the meadows. The houses on the property are oriented outward, ensuring complete privacy. The house has a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. Pots, pans, kitchen utensils, a mixer, a juicer, and other kitchen tools are also provided. The house is heated electrically, with underfloor heating downstairs and a Finnish wood stove. There is also a wood stove downstairs that you can use to keep the house cozy.

The cottage is located in an ancient volcanic region. To be precise, it’s in a volcanic crater. The cottage is surrounded by pastures where the owners’ horses graze. There’s a fire pit where you can build as many campfires as you like, make pancakes, roast bread on a stick, and use the barbecue on the patio. There’s also a five-meter trampoline and various outdoor toys available. Down in the valley flows (not always) a small river where you can never build enough dams. From the house, you can take lovely walks through the woods and meadows. If you hike up the mountain, you can even see as far as the High Tatras from the top. Nearby, you’ll find a “ranch” where you can go horseback riding. Beginners ride led by an instructor, while advanced riders can even gallop. A 20-minute drive away, you’ll find a water park, and a small lake where you can swim. An hour’s drive away are the beautiful historic towns of Banska Stiavnica, Kremnica, and Banska Bystrica.
