Wow! This nature house is in a special location! The cottage is sheltered and on an island on a beautiful lake, where you can sail and swim. The cottage can only be reached by boat, which is included in the booking. Especially the location is special, in the middle of the nature reserve with many birds, swans, ducks, etc. The cottage has a living room with partially open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. In the living room, in addition to a nice dining area, there are two comfortable sofas with a television. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and oven. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There are two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have a double bed and a wardrobe. The booking does NOT include linen, please book this in for your carefree stay. Bringing your own beach towel is always a good idea.
Nature and surroundings
Giethoorn is known for its large number of canals and the many walking paths, interconnected by characteristic bridges. In the center, which is not accessible to cars, there are beautiful farmhouses to visit. Giethoorn is surrounded by the beautiful nature reserves and water bodies of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, where you can make great walks, cycling and boating trips. In this largest low moor swamp of Western Europe, with a size of no less than 6000 hectares, you can completely relax and enjoy the birds and rare animals that live here.
