At the edge of the rural brink village of Exloo, you will find this nice nature house. It is located in the middle of the Drentse Hondsrug and adjacent to beautiful nature reserves. Next to the farmhouse is a large authentic barn in which the nature house is housed. It is comfortably furnished for two persons. The living room consists of a fully equipped open kitchen, dining area and sitting area with two lovely fauteuils. The bedroom has two single box-spring beds. The bathroom has a vanity unit, shower and toilet. The cottage has central heating and is equipped with radio, TV and WiFi. On the original Drenthe farmhouse guests have their own little garden with a terrace. There you can enjoy a wide view and see the sheep, chickens and horses roaming in the meadow. In short, enough space and possibilities to come and enjoy your vacation in this nature house!
Nature and surroundings
Within a distance of about 25 kilometers from the nature house, the area has much more to offer. Besides a beautiful and varied landscape with meandering water streams, many forests and heathlands, you can also discover that life in this area can be very different. The romantic bog villages are known for their cozy folkloric village festivals and the many activities that take place there.In addition, there are many cultural-historical attractions in the region such as dolmens, the dolmen center in Borger, the Veenpark in Emmer-Compascuum, the Remembrance Camp Westerbork, museum village Orvelte, the beautiful zoo in Emmen, the Planetron in Dwingeloo and much more. The Drentse Hondsrug is the first internationally recognized GEO park in the Netherlands.For enthusiasts, a short distance from this nature house is a heated outdoor swimming pool and an 18-hole free-access golf course. You will discover that Drenthe has many attractions and the peace and space to spend a nice vacation.
