Next to the landlords' farm is their authentic romantic nature house for two. This cottage can be rented by the weekend, midweek or week. There is a fully equipped kitchenette. It is self-catering, so no breakfast served. The nature house is tastefully decorated with interior shutters and features comforts such as underfloor heating and a full bathroom. The bakhuisje has a private terrace with stunning views of the Reestdal nature reserve. There is possibility to cook for yourself on the characteristic stove with enamel lids. In the sitting room there is room for a beautiful Staphorster table and Loom chairs. Upon arrival you will find the prepared box-spring beds in the separate bedroom. This nature house is located in nature reserve the Reest valley. This is the area along the Reest, the border river between Overijssel and Drenthe. This meanders still from Dedemsvaart to Meppel through the old, unchanged landscape where you can make wonderful trips on foot or by bike directly from the Wildenberg. In summer there are still thousands of cornflowers between the waving grain fields that color the ash trees deep blue and in spring marsh marigolds grow in the wet meadows on both sides of the Reest. In winter you can skate on the fens in the forest and walk along the old church paths to the little church of Oud Avereest for a nice concert with small ensembles. Intimate restaurants also in a farmhouse are within biking distance. There is a large sauna in Zuidwolde, seven kilometers away, and stores and an outdoor swimming pool are four kilometers away.
