This authentic nature house is hidden in the woods of the forestry Sleenerzand. The cottage is an ideal base for peace seekers and lovers of the Drenthe countryside. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The living room and bedroom are in one room. The simple open kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, coffee maker and kettle. The cottage is part of a small residential farm with grounds of about three and a half acres. The farm has a large pasture, where your own horse or pony can graze if you wish.

The nature house is located on bicycle paths that are part of a long continuous network of bicycle paths throughout Drenthe. So you can make wonderful bike rides in this area. Furthermore, you can enjoy hours of hiking through the three neighboring forestries. The so-called Pieterpad runs practically behind the farm. Picturesque villages such as Orvelte, Sleen and Zweeloo are within cycling distance and the supermarket in Schoonoord is not far either.
