Nature house in Beerze

This charming nature house is located on the edge of the Ommen Forest, near the Overijsselse Vecht. The nature house, which is approximately 40 m², has a garden with a south-facing patio and a raised patio on the north side. The cottage features a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. In the small but cozy living room with sliding glass doors, you’ll find a sitting area with a television (Digitenne), DVD player, and a gas heater. There’s plenty of games, books, and DVDs available. The kitchen-diner is equipped with, among other things, a gas stove, refrigerator (without freezer compartment), combination microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The first bedroom has a double bed (140x200), and the second has a queen-size bed (120x190). The cottage does not have Wi-Fi. It may be available via the adjacent campground (signal strength varies). This is a forest cottage. It is somewhat dated and simple, but also charming and fully equipped.

The nature house, along with nine other cabins, is located on the edge of a farm property, which also includes a small campground. It offers a beautiful view of the Vecht River. All kinds of birds fly back and forth, and in the spring, the birdhouses in the garden are bustling with nesting activity. From the cottage, you can follow various beautiful hiking and biking trails through the Overijssel countryside. You can go swimming at De Oldemeijer, a swimming pond beautifully situated in the woods (eight kilometers away), and also in the Vecht River (a short walk from the cottage), where people also go fishing. Various interesting places and amusement parks are just a short drive away. During peak season, you’ll hear sounds from the family campground located across the dirt road. Incidentally, the campground features a brasserie, a wellness center, swimming pools (accessible to non-campers for a fee, except during school vacations and holidays), a mini-golf course, and a small supermarket.
