Nature house in Grathem (Leudal)

Very nice landlords, wonderful nature, beautiful cottage, beds and equipment, nothing left to be desired, the immediate surroundings around the cottage are beautiful nature, private and very versatile. The swimming pond is wonderful, only the entrance steps are heavily algae-covered, you have to be very careful here or clean it first, let the algae settle for a few hours and only then use it. I think it's very good that this cottage is for non-smokers and without pets, so it has a good atmosphere (no smell and no animal hair in the house or dog excrement in the immediate vicinity). There are animals outside from birds, insects, cats, chickens, goats, donkeys etc. pretty much everything. We felt very comfortable.

Sehr nette Vermieter, wunderbare Natur, schönes Häuschen, Betten und Ausstattung, nichts ließ zu wünschen übrig, die unmittelbare Umgebung rund ums Häuschen ist wunderschöne Natur, privat und sehr vielseitig. Der Schwimmteich ist wunderbar, bloß die Einstiegsstufen stark veralgt, hier muss man sehr vorsichtig sein bzw. erst etwas säubern, paar Stunden die aufgewirbelten Algen setzen lassen und dann erst nutzen. War vielleicht auch der Jahreszeit geschuldet, wenig/kein Schwimmbetrieb im Winter.

Ich finde es sehr gut, dass dieses Häuschen für Nichtraucher und ohne eigene Haustiere ist, es hat dadurch eine gute Atmosphäre (kein Gestank und keine Tierhaare im Haus oder Hundekot im direkten Umfeld). Tiere draußen gibt es von Vögeln, Insekten, Katzen, Hühnern, Ziegen, Esel usw. so ziemlich alles. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A wonderful place. Man-made noises only occasionally due to agriculture, that's just part of it, but it was rare. Nature's concert is wonderfully varied, but on some nights the frogs in the swimming pond really give their all and almost non-stop, so you might want to take earplugs with you. The most amazing nature, old and beautiful, comes with the corresponding background noise. Frogs, hens and cockerels have a lively conversation, I thought it was lovely, and for the night, just earplugs. However, we seem to have had the biggest frog parties on the first few nights, the later ones were much quieter.

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Menschengemachte Geräusche nur zeitweise durch Landwirtschaft, das gehört halt dazu, war aber selten. Naturkonzert ist wunderbar vielfältig, in manchen Nächten geben die Frösche im Schwimmteich aber wirklich alles und fast pausenlos, deshalb mag man vielleicht doch Ohropax mitnehmen. Die tollste Natur, alteingewachsen und wunderschön, kommt halt eben auch mit der entsprechenden Geräuschkulisse. Frösche, Hühner und Hahn unterhalten sich lebhaft, ich fand es schön, und für Nachts eben Ohropax. Wir scheinen aber in den ersten Nächten auch die größten Frosch-Parties erwischt zu haben, die späteren waren mit deutlich längeren Ruhepausen.

Mooi landelijk gelegen huisje van alle gemakken voorzien, erg vriendelijke verhuurders!

Peace and quiet! Many birds in the garden, little car traffic, no airplane noise. Space around cottage, and lots of nature in the area available, hiking and biking trails!

Rust! Veel vogels in de tuin, weinig autoverkeer, geen vliegtuig geluid.
Ruimte rondom huisje, en veel natuur in de omgeving aanwezig, wandel en fietspaden!
