Nature house in Merselo

This characteristic nature house in Merselo (municipality of Venray) has received a particularly successful makeover in 2020! Together with another vacation home (front house) and our own house, this nature house is part of a special, attractive farmhouse, surrounded by a wooded bank, fields and right on the edge of the forest. Through the garden doors in the living room you enter your own private garden/terrace. The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped and luxurious. In the cozy, spacious bedroom has 2x single box spring beds and a large closet. The bathroom, with floor heating, has a bathtub and a spacious walk-in shower. Finally, as an extra luxury you can use an infra red sauna. A comfortable and spacious stay with many original elements make this house a wonderful vacation spot!

This nature house has a spacious and fairly screened terrace with slate lime trees, roses and hydrangeas. Don't forget your binoculars because it is an ideal spot for birdwatchers! Many birds (including barn swallows) nest in and around the yard each year. At will, like us, you can enjoy various yard and pet animals; besides dog and cat, these include our pigs, turkeys and a flock of chickens. Near the frog pool are (at a safe distance) several bee hives. Our farmhouse is quietly situated between the farmlands and is right on the edge of the Peel area with a surprising hiking area ranging from extensive woodland (with badger sett) to a meandering stream valley (with beavers). You can search this area for the hawk, pheasant, fox and roe deer, and the stone and tawny owl can also be seen near home. The many quiet and flat B-roads also offer varied cycling possibilities. In short, enjoy the peace and quiet and be surprised by this region!
