On 10,000 m² of forest land in the national park De Sallandse Heuvelrug is a simple but fully equipped nature house suitable for two adults. The location is ideal for cyclists, hikers, birdwatchers and peace seekers. Deer, hares, squirrels and many species of songbirds and birds of prey are in the immediate vicinity of the log cabin. The Holter Berghut is fully furnished and equipped with a (filter) coffee maker, a percolator, a Senseo machine, combi microwave, private bathroom and shower facilities. There is also a 40" Smart UHD TV with KPN programming and lightning-fast internet/WiFi via fiber optics. The couch in the living room can be turned into a lovely lounge sofa. At this real nature house - not at a park! - you will find peace, space, nature, clean air and wildlife, therefore unfortunately no dogs or other pets are allowed in this cottage. Train station Holten is within walking distance, the same goes for the village. There is a good connection (four trains per hour) with Deventer, Enschede and Zwolle. For beautiful walks, hiking maps are available. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance. The area is ideal for hiking, cycling and especially mountain biking. You can start directly from the cottage on one of several ATB routes in the area, so ideal terrain for mountain bikers. For bike rental (race, mountain, electric) the landlords can facilitate. Cottage is in beautiful place. An oasis of tranquility. From kitchen window view of the squirrels and birds in the garden. Very sympathetic owners, Laura and Ruud. We will definitely go back!
