This nature house is located in the green hills north of Lisbon. It is the perfect base for people who love peace and nature. At the front, the cottage offers a private terrace sheltered from the wind and sunny all day. The covered terrace at the back offers a view of the valley. Stairs give access to the garden from this second terrace. Because of the thick walls and insulated windows, the temperature in the cottage is very pleasant, both in a hot summer and in a cool winter. The cottage has a living room, kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The open kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, oven, coffee maker and kettle. The cottage is in the same yard as nature houses 25548 and 25535, but offers a lot of privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Known as the Silver Coast, the region has been the cultural heart of Portugal over the centuries. This is reflected in the historic cities and the many cultural activities. Along the coast you have sandy beaches, but also steep cliffs and dune landscapes of all colors. 15 kilometers away is the protected nature reserve Paul de Tornada. It is one of the few wetlands in the region, rich with flora and fauna. The region is the Tiel of Portugal, it is the fruit garden of Portugal. Due to its microclimate, it is not as hot and dry as in the south and not as wet as in the north. Therefore, the cottage is surrounded by apple, pear and grape orchards.
