Nature house in Haps

Very large (>1000m3!) A lovely and very large veranda, a wood-burning fireplace, a hot tub (optional), a sauna, a large teepee with a campfire, and a nostalgic kitchen-diner make this very spacious nature house a wonderful place to truly experience rural outdoor living. And there’s more… A small fruit orchard, a playground, a rose garden, and outdoor games. And all in complete peace and quiet, because you’ll have this entire, incredibly charming location all to yourself. Close to the oldest city in the Netherlands: Nijmegen. Beautiful (and water-rich!) surroundings for walking and biking, with plenty of opportunities for day trips and recreation. At this charming house, it’s all about truly being together again and getting away from the hustle and bustle for a while. Think, for example, of our cozy cooking workshops—with family or friends! Check-out time is at 12:00 PM, except on Sundays, when you may stay until 8:00 PM. You can extend your weekend by one night for a small additional fee. IN THE SUMMER, THE HOT TUB IS INCLUDED (COLD).

The nature house is located in the Land van Cuijk. This area is perfect for beautiful bike rides. Every ride brings new surprises. You’ll discover a wide variety of landscapes. Along the Meuse River, you’ll see a beautiful floodplain area, bordered by lovely blackthorn and hawthorn hedges. Near Sint Anthonis, you can enjoy forests and heathland. And heading toward Wanroy, you’ll discover the reclaimed Peel region. Heading toward Gassel, you’ll enter the river dune area. The oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen, with its shopping center and the beautiful Waalkade, is about a 20-minute drive away. There are wonderful cycling routes in the area (such as along the Meuse). Bicycles can be rented through the nature house’s landlord or locally and will be delivered to the location if you wish! You’ll also find yourself in a water-rich environment!
