Near Norg (Drenthe) lies this cozy nature house in a beautiful spot in the wooded Oosterduinen. The ideal base for walking and cycling through forest, heath and the unique Norger esdorpen landschap. The cottage (45m²) is situated in the middle of an original forest garden of over 1200 m². At the front you look out over the fields and enjoy the morning sunrise. The terrace with lots of privacy is on the other side. The cottage is suitable for max 2 persons. The bedroom has a double bed, with lovely mattresses. A small second bedroom, with bunk beds, is ideal for children, but too "basic" for adults. There are also a gas stove, kitchen and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. You can use WiFi, Digitenne TV, radio/CD player, games and lots of information about the area. Bicycles can be stored in the shed.
Nature and surroundings
The Kop van Drenthe, where this nature house is located, is ideal for nature lovers. Take a walk from the cottage in the unique esdorpen landscape around Norg. The small-scale landscape consists of old fields, heaths, wet grasslands and precious old woodlands. The management of the area is aimed at maintaining the rich nature and cultural history as well as possible. The result is an area that is an oasis of tranquility, where time seems to stand still. Or take your bike and visit nature reserves such as the Fochteloërveen, the Drents-Friese Woud and the streams of the Drentsche Aa. Still by car? A day trip to Schiermonnikoog is easy to do. The cottage is located two kilometers from the ancient village of Norg. It is a quiet, cozy village with stores, restaurants and for children the pool Molenduinbad. The city of Groningen (25 kilometers) offers plenty of opportunities for shopping, going out and visiting museums.
