Frank September 1, 2025 General rating:Excellent location and a great cottage. You are nicely sheltered despite there being four cottages together. Did deduct one point because a few things in the cottage didn't work, but overall that didn't spoil the fun.

Nature, peace & environment:Excellent place to explore Texel and enjoy nature. We were lucky with the birds and saw quite a few from the terrace in front of the house. Even in autumn weather the accommodation was nice and warm, which was handy when we came home soaking wet from cycling. By the way, the bikes are included with the cottage which is also extremely convenient. Here and there the manual is a little behind the state of the cottage and a few lights and the Dyson didn't work, but that didn't spoil the fun.
