This very environmentally friendly ruralhut is located in Den Oever. The building is surrounded by natural Sedum roofing. The house is equipped with the recognized quality mark Ecological Building. It has been triple isolated, which means that it does not need to be heated to achieve a pleasant living environment. This gives a pleasant feeling in winter and in the summer it provides a wonderfully cool environment thanks to the air conditioning system. All wooden furniture in the ruralhut has been specially made by a local company that uses durably certified wood. The ruralhut has a modern, fully equipped kitchen. You can use a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, kettle and crockery. In the living room is a large dining table with six comfortable chairs and the sitting area consists of two spacious sofas. The three bedrooms are on the ground floor. Two bedrooms are provided with two single beds. The third bedroom has a bunk bed. In the bathroom you'll find a toilet, shower cabin and washbasin.

The house is located on the grounds of Scouting Corvus Corone. This is a nature area that is fully adapted to bring people and nature closer together. There is a beautiful hiking trail that goes all over the grounds. Walking and cycling along the Wadden Sea dike or on the former island of Wieringen all belong to the ruralhut. But the North Sea and Texel can be reached as well.
