This particularly environmentally friendly nature house is located near Den Oever. The building completely blends into its surroundings due to the natural Sedum roofing. The cottage bears the recognized mark of Ecological Building and is triple insulated, so little heating is required to achieve a pleasant living environment. Some of the wooden furniture in the cottage was specially made by a local company that uses sustainably certified wood. The cottage has a modern, fully equipped kitchen. You have access to a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and crockery. In the living room there is a spacious dining table with six comfortable chairs and the sitting area consists of two spacious sofas. The three bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Two bedrooms have twin beds. The third bedroom has a bunk bed. In the bathroom there is a toilet, shower cabin and sink.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the grounds of Scouting . This makes it possible that during your stay scouting activities take place. They are always aware of your stay and will do everything possible to take this into account. You are always invited to take a look at, or actively participate in the activity. Outside our own grounds lies the Wadden pearl Keizerpoeldijk. This is a nature reserve that has been completely arranged to bring people and nature closer together. There is a beautiful hiking trail that goes all over the property. Walking and cycling along the Wadden Sea dike or across the former island of Wieringen are all possibilities from the Ecolodge. The North Sea beach and Texel are also within easy reach.

And when it comes to the surroundings, I'm a bit biased. After all, I live within walking distance of the lodge.Zie hier boven
En qua omgeving ben ik bevooroordeeld. Ik woon nl. op loopafstand van de lodge.I didn't stay at the ecolodge myself.
We rented it for an artist who is our (CKW) artist-in-residence during a landscape exhibition.
She was very pleased with the accommodations and the surroundings.

A cozy little cottage with comfortable beds and curtains in the bedrooms.
Since it’s located on the Scouting grounds, the kids also had plenty of space to play.Een fijn huisje met prima bedden en gordijnen in de slaapkamers.
Doordat het op het terrein vd scouting staat hadden de kinderen ook een hoop speelruimte. All you have to do is walk across the dike to see the mudflats. The dynamic tides and the many birds are beautiful!
Je hoeft de dijk maar over te lopen om het wad te zien. De dynamiek van het getij en de vele vogels zijn prachtig!

almost perfect, you can always wish for something, but you don't actually miss anything
bijna perfect, je kan altijd wel iets wensen, maar eigenlijk mis je niets
Tranquility, beautiful view, spacious, clean. Everything is there
Rust, mooi uitzicht, ruim, schoon. Van alles aanwezig
