Sleep by the village canal in the heart of Giethoorn! Here you will wake up in very special surroundings. The beautiful location, on a former farmyard reminds you of the Giethoorn of yesteryear. The newly built apartment in this former farmhouse is fully equipped. Excellent for a nice quiet vacation in the nature of National Park Weerribben-Wieden. Or more active: the area is excellent for hiking and cycling and, of course, plenty of boating. There is covered bicycle storage for your own bike and charging point for e-bikes. Canoes and punters, as well as whisper boats and e-sloops, can be rented at a discount from the location. The apartment is equipped with a flat-screen TV and WiFi. There are 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet and an IR sauna. The accommodation has underfloor heating and central heating. There is a spacious terrace with garden furniture and 2 large gardens adjacent to ged. accessible nature reserve.
Nature and surroundings
Giethoorn is the water sports center of the Kop van Overijssel. The many typical bridges and the thatched farmhouses built on islands with beautifully maintained gardens determine the beautiful village image. The water village is located in National Park Weerribben-Wieden, especially special because of its vastness, many lakes and wealth of plants and animals. There are several activities nearby: boat, bicycle and walking tours from the apartment, museum visits, gallery or store and National Park visitor centers. The shopping towns of Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle. Or a visit to the nearby heathland and dolmens in Havelte (with sheepfold) and other Drenthe brink villages such as Ruinen (with sheepfold) and Dwingeloo, a visit to the colorful Staphorst and the Reest valley, a visit to Pantropica or a visit to the nearby animal park Taman Indonesia.
