The vacation home is located in Rijkel at the forest, near the lovely village of Beesel, voted the "Greenest Village in the Netherlands" and known for the Drakensteken festival. The forest is part of the Maas-Swalm-Nette nature reserve. Sitting on the terrace you overlook the unspoiled Maas valley. Around the nature house is a lot of nature. An official silence area, it is very quiet. The paths lead through the forest and fields overlooking Swalm and Maas. There are many forest and dirt roads for lovely walks.
