The nature house has everything you need. Unfortunately, when you walk in, you’re met with a musty smell. There’s a lot of overdue maintenance, both inside and out. The entire house needs a thorough renovation. You can’t store your bikes, and you can’t charge e-bikes outside. There are no window screens. Since you’re in the woods, this isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. A plus is the good dishwasher, and there’s a washing machine in the shower. One thing to keep in mind is to keep the area around the cottage’s entrance trimmed. The photos show that the grass used to be mowed right up to the water’s edge, but that’s no longer the case. You can’t just walk down to the water. It’s overgrown with blackberry bushes and stinging nettles. Unfortunately, we decided to head home early.

Experiencing nature as it is meant to be is part of the charm of our idyllic Boshuis. It’s a shame that the natural setting didn’t appeal to you. Rijkswaterstaat manages the banks of the Maas, and that’s beyond our control. Our rural Boshuis is located in the woods. This really appeals to our guests. We’re cautious about pruning. That’s better for nature and for our guests’ experience of nature. A Center Parcs resort might better suit your preferences than a beautifully secluded nature house like ours in the “Maas-Schwalm-Nette” nature reserve on the Maas River and near the Swalm, home to beavers, badgers, deer, birds, and countless winding hiking trails.

Het natuurhuisje heeft alle dingen die je nodig hebt. Helaas bij binnenkomst in het huisje komt je een muffe geur tegemoet. Veel achterstallig onderhoud zowel binnen als buiten. Het totale huisje heeft een grondige update nodig. Je kunt je fietsen niet opbergen en voor ebikes niet buiten opladen. Er zijn geen horren voor de ramen. Aangezien je in de bossen zit geen overbodige luxe. Pluspunt is de goede vaatwasser en in de douche staat een wasmachine. Aandachtspunt is om de toegang tot het huisje te blijven snoeien. Op de foto's is te zien dat er gemaaid wordt tot aan het water, maar dat is niet meer zo. Je kunt niet zomaar naar het water lopen. Vol gegroeid met bramenstruiken, brandnetels. Helaas hebben wij besloten om eerder weer naar huis te gaan.

Het gevoel van de natuur zoals de natuur is bedoeld hoort bij de beleving van ons idyllische Boshuis. Jammer dat u de natuurbeleving niet aansprak. Rijkswaterstaat beheert de Maasoevers en dat valt buiten onze invloed. Ons landelijke Boshuis ligt in het bos. Dat spreekt onze gasten erg aan. We zijn terughoudend in het snoeien. Dat is beter voor de natuur en voor de natuurbeleving van onze gasten. Een Centerparks past wellicht beter bij uw wensen, dan een schitterend solitair gelegen natuurhuisje, zoals het onze in natuurgebied "Maas-Schwalm-Nette" aan de Maas en vlakbij de Swalm, met bevers, dassen, hertjes, vogels en talloze kronkelende wandelpaadjes.

The peace, space, and nature in the area are wonderful. However, nature does come very close to the cottage. It’s surrounded by blackberry bushes, and they aren’t pruned. As a result, the area around the cottage isn’t really tidy. We love nature, but the garden that comes with the cottage isn’t really being maintained.

De rust, ruimte en natuur in de omgeving is heerlijk. Alleen komt de natuur wel heel dichtbij het huisje. Is omringt door bramenstruiken, en deze worden niet gesnoeid. Daardoor is het niet echt netjes rondom het huisje. Wij houden van de natuur, maar onderhoud van de tuin die bij het huisje hoort gebeurt niet echt.

In 1 word Great Very nice cottage with new kitchen and floor spacious clean bathroom, cottage is cozy with good furniture and fine bed, Smart TV and good wifi cottage is really private in the woods and on the water. You become 1 with nature there lives a squirrel in the garden. Friendly owner.

Huisje ligt echt prive in het bos en aan het water. Je word er 1 met de natuur er woont een eekhoorn in de tuin. Vriendelijke eigenaar.
