Had a wonderful week. What a beautiful setting and for the two of us a lovely cottage. A few times pleasant contact with the owner. Response from landlord: Nice that you were there. It was a pleasure to host you! The pans are professional catering quality. We have a large cooking studio where we teach people to cook without lids. The reason is that with lid cooking the vegetables often overcook. That is not tasty. Without a lid it is easier to see what is happening in the pan. That's why we promote cooking without a lid. That is much better.

De reden is dat met deksel koken de groenten vaak overgaar worden. Dat is niet lekker. Zonder deksel is beter te zien wat er in de pan gebeurd. Vandaar dat we promoten om zonder deksel te koken.
