Do you want to enjoy the outdoors? Listen to the silence? Or admire the Limburg nature and views? Come to rest? The ruralhut is situated in the middle of the Limburgse hilly landscape. Taste the atmosphere of this old half-timbered house from 1750 with a cozy kitchen. The ruralhut has its own terrace, it is cozy furnished with a fireplace and it's equipped with every comfort. The garden and high-rise farmhouse (4000 m²) offers all the space for extraordinary enjoyment. The wood-fired hottub (for up to six people) is pure joy of a warm bath overlooking the Hermens Valley. A cozy house that can accommodate four to eight people. Pets are welcome upon request. Please note: variable energy costs apply. In November / December / January / February / March: € 12.50 per night. In April / May / June / September / October € 8 per night. In July / August € 5 per night.

Nature and surroundings

The ruralhut is a great base for long walks or cycling tours. It is located in a quiet area with direct access to forests, the Geul rivier, meadows and views. Wake up with the sounds of the spotted woodpecker or the black redtail. Be surprised by the many castles in the neighborhood. There are increasingly wild boar and roe deer populations. You can easily walk into the stretched Vijlener forests or visit the Geul river where you can now discover traces of beavers. Or do you want to sit down on a terrace in Vijlen or Mechelen? It is all possible in the vicinity of the ruralhut. The center of Aachen is only a 15-minute drive away and Maastricht is less than half an hour away.
