The living room is arranged so that from the comfortable seating area you have a beautiful view of the private garden and meadows. You can watch the sunset from your easy chair. WiFi, a flat-screen TV with a wide range of channels, radio, DVD and CD player are at your disposal. The kitchen is functionally equipped with four-burner ceramic stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave oven and good kitchen utensils. The cottage is located in the yard of a farmhouse built in 1852. The grounds are arranged so that guests have sufficient privacy. A pleasant and hospitable stay is the landlords biggest priority. The landlords are happy to tell you about the most beautiful places and tastiest restaurants.

The nature house is beautifully and quietly located between the two most beautiful National Parks of Drenthe, the Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese Wold, making it a perfect base for beautiful cycling or walking tours and a visit to the surrounding villages with authentic Drenthe farms where you can experience the time of yesteryear. Beautiful heathlands, forests, sand drifts and fens make this location the ideal base for a wonderful nature experience. The parks contain several visitor centers, bird-watching huts and trails for cyclists, hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers. Not only that, but from the house you may be able to hear the owls, see the bats flying and enjoy the beautiful starry sky! The landlord has a wonderful birding scope/telescope with tripod that you can rent for a reasonable fee to spot birds and wildlife. In the book box are several guides where you can read about flora and fauna in the area. Four kilometers away is Dwingeloo with the most beautiful village square in Drenthe! You will find monumental farms, cafes, restaurants, cozy stores and the Albert Heijn. At 500 meters from the house is a cycling junction.
