In the beautiful province of Varmland, in the middle of Swedish nature lies this nice detached vacation home. Because of its location at the edge of the forest and about 150 meters from the river you are surrounded by nature. The house is cozy and nicely decorated with luxury equipment. Ideal for nature and animal lovers. View of the river and the horses!
Nature and surroundings
For people who love nature it is a fairy tale here! Stores, tourist information, supermarkets and several restaurants can be found about 5 kilometers from the nature house in the town of Ekshärad. In winter there are plenty of activities such as skiing/snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, horseback riding through nature, snowmobile safaris, quad tours, sleigh rides with huskies and horse-drawn sleigh rides. In summer, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, participating in quad tours, moose-beaver or guided hiking safaris through the forests and much more. There are also plenty of lakes and waterfalls nearby. Also nearby: moose park, Huskyfarms, golf courses, an aqua park and the largest ski tunnel in Europe, Torsby. In short, a perfect place to enjoy all the fun Sweden has to offer.

August 4, 2014 General rating:Ontzettend gezellig huisje, met een heerlijke douche (er was ook een bad), lekkere fris opgemaakte bedden, een mooie, schone keuken met alles er-op-en-eraan en twee picknicktafels buiten. Er is een vuurplaats en een barbecue. We hebben gebadmintond op ons eigen veldje. En we hadden het geluk dat er net een veulentje was geboren dat, nadat de eigenaresse ons om toestemming had gevraagd (niet iedereen houdt ten slotte van dieren), op het veld naast ons met zijn moeder de wereld ontdekte. Wij werden elke ochtend door hem begroet. Ook voor mensen met jonge kinderen die van dieren houden is dit huisje dus zeker een aanrader. Wij hebben geen tv gekeken maar dat was wel mogelijk. Net als internetten, als je daar behoefte aan hebt, want het bereik is prima. Wij hebben een superweek gehad!
Nature, peace & environment: In de ongerepte omgeving van het huisje, kun je mooie wandelingen maken en het plaatsje Eksharad heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hebben geluncht in 'Moccacino', een tip van de eigenaresse, waar een Duits echtpaar heerlijk middageten verzorgt. De jongens hebben paard gereden in de Zweedse natuur en ik heb heerlijk in de tuin een boek gelezen. Het is ook mogelijk om te zwemmen want de rivier is vlakbij. Vlakbij is een camping waar je kano's kunt huren. Wij hebben 's avonds worstjes gebakken op ons eigen kampvuur.
