Nature house in Schoonoord

The ruralhut is a private property and is located in a park landscaped by the National Forestry. It is not a park, but more the extension of the wooded area that surrounds it. Fortunately, each cottage has a generous piece of land (500 m²), so the sun can also do its work. Around the grounds is a green strip for sufficient privacy. The garden furniture, several easy chairs and straight chairs as well as two garden tables make it possible to live outside. Squirrels, rabbits and birds are in abundance and the light drop through the trees makes every hour different. The cottage is located in Schoonoord and has a spacious hall, spacious bathroom with shower cabin and toilet, living room with dining / cooking area, generous conservatory and three bedrooms. Bedroom one has a bed with electrically adjustable slatted bed. Bedroom two has a bunk bed and bedroom three has a rollaway bed. For all beds, you can use single bed linen. You are expected to use your own bedding here, so that the next guests will find a clean bed. All bedrooms, as well as the bathroom, are electrically heated. With the exception of the period of the 3rd of July until the 20th of August a discount is applicable for 60+ of 10%. A maximum of one pet is allowed!

The forestry Schoonoord has a varied development. There is a lot of agricultural land but also forestry. Right next to the park is a production forest where children can enjoy themselves. For the sake of certainty use the present tick spray. There is plenty of air in the park, but also a huge variety of planting. Within walking distance you will find fens with marsh fluff and when the park is quiet, the roe deer come very close! Around the woods you can see roe deer in the evening: walk into the wind direction, otherwise they will smell you before you can even see them. Because of all this game, your dog must be left out of line. The fall in Drenthe is a color force that does not know its display! By bike distance, the "Kibbelkoele" is a free recreation pool with spotted white sand all around. The purple crocodile can also be taken along as well as a rubber boat... Crossroads of various distances start across the park at the "The Papless Church". Of course you can also go to “Ellert and Brammert” (Open Air Museum) in Schoonoord by bike. The Tree crown path is very special and has an educational center. Very nice with children (without height fear).
