This nature house is located in a hidden spot that you would really prefer to keep to yourself! The villa is a restored 'quinta', an authentic farm as only Portugal knows it. Here you can taste how people live in this region. The nature house has its own fireplace, double bed, shower, toilet and kitchenette. The landlords have a strong connection to Portugal. One came there earlier in life and was immediately sold. The other grew up near the city of Porto and has lived in the region all her life. It is possible to enjoy genuine Portuguese delicacies prepared in the kitchen every evening. This nature house is suitable for a maximum of two adults and two children (maximum 18 years). For the parents there is the bedroom, for the children beds can be placed in the spacious sitting room. This room is separated from the bedroom by a spacious terrace. The nature house is located entirely on the second floor, with the sitting room and kitchen on one side and the bedroom and bathroom on the other. In between is a 40 m2 terrace offering views of the valley and the mountains. The sitting room has two sofas and a small library. Two children are free and each additional child (third and fourth) is charged €50 extra per child per week.

Those who think there is nothing to do in the north of Portugal are wrong! This region, about which not much can be found on the Internet, has a lot to offer the nature lover. In the vicinity of the nature house you can make beautiful walks. In the vicinity of the cottage you can find cultivated lands on which the local people grow their crops. Here in spring and summer you have a good chance of seeing the brilliantly colored hoopoe. In addition, a lot of other bird species can be found, such as the jay, little blackhead, green woodpecker, buzzard and bee-eater. From the cottage you will be awakened by the canary and black redstart. At night you can hear calling tawny owls from the terrace. When you walk for 15 minutes, you leave the cultural grounds behind and enter the nature of northern Portugal: rock formations, endless fields of yellow prickly broom and Mirandesa cows. This habitat hosts a lot of unusual bird species. The numerous rock formations are home to large populations of the gray bunting. You can also see robin's sparrows and choughs everywhere here. The lake, a 20-minute drive from the villa, offers the ideal cooling in summer. The landlord will gladly take you there and will also tell you something about the history of the area!
