The walking and cycling routes in the Dwingelderveld National Park are a stone's throw from the campsite. You can head straight from your tent or caravan into nature and within minutes you are already on trails crisscrossing this beautiful nature reserve. Whether you choose a quiet walk or an active bike ride, the routes are designed to be easily accessible and show you the best of Drenthe. Enjoy the proximity to nature and the freedom to explore! The cozy brink village of Ruinen features several restaurants, supermarket and a fresh bakery. Explore the weerribben and Giethoorn by boat. Take a day trip to the historic city of Meppel or marvel at the story of the colonies of Weldadigheid. There is so much to discover that one vacation will not be enough.
