In our garden is this fine log cabin with plenty of privacy on a large lawn with possibility of covered outdoor cooking and eating in a sheepfold, gas and coal barbecue and a fire pit. Parking next to the cottage is possible. By bus (stop in front of the door) and metro you can reach Amsterdam-Zuid in half an hour. Activities: swimming in private pool (May-Aug) or river Kromme Mijdrecht, walking and cycling in the beautiful surroundings. Or grab our pedal boat and go floating on the Amstel. Eating out in De Hoef at De Strooppot or in Uithoorn or Mijdrecht (lots of choice). Home delivery is also available.

We had mistaken the dates and Herbert had called and immediately arranged it so we could come after all. Very nice and sweet. We slept in two different cottages. Both with their own charm.
