Welcome to our webpage of our nature house in the head of Drenthe. You are in a unique location in the middle of nature and close to the city of Groningen (15 minutes by car). The B&B is a Finnish Kota made entirely of wood. You have access to a large living room, separate bedroom and bathroom. All rooms have electric heating. The couch in the living area is a sofa bed so that you can possibly stay overnight with 3 to a maximum of 4 people. When booking our B&B you pay for 2 persons. For an extra guest you pay 17.50 euros per night extra. You can indicate this when booking. There is a hot tub available that you can book for 60 euros extra. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. In the small kitchen you will find a Dolce Gusta coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and induction stove with 2 places on it. Coffee cups and various types of tea are provided. On the dining table there is a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for you and also a small surprise.
Nature and surroundings
At dusk, you might just see a bat flying by. They live in the church tower next door. On our grounds you will find a pond, a fruit wall to walk on and a fire pit. But do not forget the stork post on our property where the storks come back every year to mate and raise their young. But be especially surprised by the nature (De Onlanden), tranquility and space to make it a wonderful stay. From the B&B you can make beautiful walks in the Onlanden and the Peizermaden. By bicycle you can make beautiful trips in the area, such as a tour around the Leekstermeer.
