Simple, adventurous experience: floating (Tiny) nature house with wood sauna, only 7 bike kilometers (easy bikes included) from Amsterdam, in a quiet spot on the Amstel River near Ouderkerk. The nature house is insulated, double glazed and the (sauna) wood stove heats the whole boat so can be booked all year round. Thick winter comforter with plaid will keep you warm at night on a cold spring night. Beautiful rural area around ouderkerk aan de Amstel, bike the rural Ronde Hoep; of almost 20km. Evening cooking and then in the sauna ..followed by a splash in the Amstel or a hot shower. Note: Simple dry toilet with separation solid (sawdust) / liquid (You empty this yourself after each use) Hot shower by geyser. There is no electricity, phone can be charged via USB. Free parking in front of the door, bus stop 300 from Schiphol / Bijijlmer at 2km walk. Incl.: Bed linen, towels, firewood, water, coffee, tea and 2 bikes.

Super quiet place, near Ouderkerk aan de Amstel (by bike 5minutes, with supermarket). There also starts cycling route the Rond Hoep (18km), a must. Amsterdam is the other way, about half an hour by bike. Swimming is fine in the Amstel, then warm up by the wood stove. In 2019 I myself converted this sailing log cabin into weekend accommodation with sauna. Building is super fun and a wood-fired sauna is fantastic. In addition, it is too crazy to share this with others. So in addition to my own use, it can also be rented occasionally. I sail the boat myself to the sleeping place, where you can recover from the hustle and bustle of the city. Don't expect luxury, a dry w.c. is just a little different in use....but most of all it's great fun, relaxing hanging out on the water.... Hope to see you soon!
