The combination of Alpine panorama, with two lakes and a river flowing through them, creates a magnificent scenery unseen anywhere else.

Another great place for your winter vacation, which is also a bit different than the usual, is Norway. This Nordic Country provides a special experience to those who want to get acquainted with the winter arctic. On a trip to Norway, you will have a chance to meet the locals, as well as many orcas and humpbacks. The scenery here is spectacular in a different way – from the water you will have a viewpoint of the Norwegian Fjords. At night, the colorful glow of the Northern Lights will be your best companion.

If you are feeling adventurous and thirsty for the mountains, head to Matterhorn. Few people know that there is a hiking trail right underneath the peak. You can start from any big town in the area, by taking an memorable train ride through Switzerland and arriving at Zermatt. If you have experience you can walk from there, but if you prefer -take the cable car, which will take you to the beginning of the hiking trail – Blauherd station.

Another amazing way to create the best Christmas memories, you can try husky sledding in Finland. Except for a fun day in the company of this funny breed, you will also be able to take in spectacular views of the Finnish wilderness.
