Speaking of Europe, this is the place to be if you want to see some of the most magical sceneries. The continent provides an interesting combination of mountainous and valley regions with rich biodiversity for you to explore. Wild adventures and countless activities in nature will welcome you on your next trip. All the while, your hilltop apartment serves as your home for the time being, where you will wake up to the most spectacular views of wild nature.

Explore the European natural wonders

France comes to our mind immediately when we think about stunning natural landscapes. Cirque de Navacelles is situated in Occitan province in Southern France and is one of the largest canyons in Europe. The river Vis has carved this network of gorges through the Causses of Larzac rock formations creating 300 m deep cuts in some places. There are three lookouts which provide stunning panoramic views of the Cirque de Navacelles and the Gorges de la Vis.

Le Canigou is one of the highest peaks in the Eastern Pyrenees with outstanding views of the valley beneath the mountain, including a small village hiding in the trees – Saint Martin-du-Canigou. The scenery from the precipice where you will also find the historic abbey Saint-Martin-du-Canigou is simply sublime.

Folgefonna National Park is one of the many national parks in Norway. If you are into mountains, you will be amazed by the peaky panoramas all around you. But it is not only mountains – you can visit the breath-taking waterfall called Langfoss Falls. There are countless opportunities for hiking, which add up to an already great experience of all the glaciers on Norway’s territories.

Activities

Cycling is one of our favourite ways to explore different natural wonders. It is not only enjoyable but also healthy! Of course, the Netherlands and Belgium are the two most popular destinations for cyclists in Europe. Silly is a little town in Belgium and the most eco-friendly destination in Europe. The town has more than 60 kilometers of pedestrian and cycling trails not only around the town, but also outside of it. Make a reservation for a day on its new cycling network where you will be able to immerse in the scenic views of six castles scattered across wonderful parks. The architecture is also distinctive – with numerous churches and typical old farms and houses.

Those who want to experience a bit of adrenaline, can enjoy the Bavarian scenery and go mountain biking or rock-climbing at the “Mecca” of mountain sports – the Franconian Jura Mountains. More than 10,000 routes and 800 rocks of all difficulties await climbers here; “Sautanz”, “Magnet” and “Wallstreet” have been recognized as the best rocks in the world for free climbing. If you are experienced enough, a guide will happily show you the way to the spectacular views from atop these rocks.
