The regional nature park du Haut-Languedoc

In the departments of Tarn and Hérault you can find the regional natural park of Haut-Languedoc. From this dividing line the water flows on one side to the Atlantic Ocean and on the other side to the Mediterranean Sea. Visit this park from your cottage and enjoy the special landscapes where greenery alternates with drought, heather areas alternate with forest areas and grasslands alternate with peat pits. Departure from your cottage for a walk through this 86,000 hectare area.

The Cirque de Navacelles basin

Are you looking for a holiday home in a unique environment? Near Saint Maurice de Navacelles in Hérault you can admire a geological spectacle, which is unique in Europe. This large cirque is located on the southern edge of the Massif Central and was formed about 3 million years ago by glacial erosion. Then the river Vis cut through the valley, creating a lake in the shape of a horseshoe. Are you looking for excitement? Then take the dangerous but spectacular road to the bottom of the valley.
