This department is centrally located in France, is named after the river Indre with the same name and has many beautiful places where you can enjoy nature in one of the holiday homes via Nature.house. In the southeast we find the Boischaut-Sud, which stretches between the Val d'Anglin and the Vallée Noire, in line with the Vallée de la Creuse.

Brenne Regional Natural Park

This 166000 hectare park is a wild area which is dotted with more than 2000 lakes. Are you looking for a holiday home in Indre? This regional nature park has a lot to offer and is a true paradise for visitors who are looking for flora and fauna. The area is rich in migratory birds, which come here to breed. You can also go here to enjoy the peace and quiet of the lakes, marshes, reed beds, heather, weeds and forests. In all these landscapes live more than 2300 species of fauna and 1200 species of flora. Here you can encounter the European marsh turtle, the purple heron, the bittern and the black-necked grebe.

In the middle of the capital of Indre, called Châteauroux, you will find the church of St. Martial which was built in the 13th century. Also in Châteauroux is the Cháteau Raoul.
