Cottages Lemesos

The Akrotiri Peninsula's beaches, as well as exceptionally beautiful mountain villages that tumble down the lower slopes of the Mandarin area and hide among the Troodos Mountains and Ancient Kourion, are all within close proximity. Limassol or Lemesos, Cyprus' most important archaeological site, is an excellent base for those who wish to mix sandy beach-bum fun with a dash of culture while avoiding the stress of finding a place to stay, as Nature House's cottages in Lemesos are an excellent choice for a short or prolonged stay.

Nature and Wildlife

To first-time visitors, the biodiversity of Cyprus flora is not apparent. Summer sees the island take on an arid aspect, with only a few hardy flowers and thorns, after the spring explosion of color from endemic vegetation and wildflowers. Around 1800 plant species and subspecies can be found on the island, with roughly 7% of them being endemic to Cyprus. Cyprus' flora profile is characterized by five principal habitats: pine woods, garigue and maquis (Mediterranean underbrush), rocky areas, coastal areas, and wetlands. The Troödos Mountains, home to roughly 45 endemic plant species, is one of the most important areas for indigenous plant species. During your stay at a Cyprus villa, you may come across any of these.

Discover the Undiscovered

The mighty ruins of Ancient Kourion are located 17 kilometers west of Limassol, and Kourion Beach features a vast expanse of golden-beige beach backed by cliffs, as well as the remains of a 6th-century basilica nearby. If you need a dose of cultural history, do not forget to stop by. Avdimou Beach is also a sandy beach with a long expanse. Swimming is allowed, and a little café and dock at the eastern end can help you lose some appetite. The enticing beach of Pissouri village, ten kilometers west of Avdimou, features a lovely stretch of sand.

When you have had your fill of sandcastle building, head to the village on the clifftop, where you will find plenty of charming cafés and boutiques to visit. Platres is a high-hill resort that first gained popularity during the British colonial period. It is now a popular hangout destination for hikers and nature lovers attracted to the lush and magnificent Troodos Mountains near our Cottages in Lemesos. Lofou Village is another great spot for nature enthusiasts. This squirmy spot, surrounded by orchards and fields of wild grass, is the ideal spot for a nice stroll and for soaking up some fresh air.

There are also plenty of activities for families traveling with kids, such as taking your toddler on a slide at Fasouri Watermania or visiting the Limassol Zoo's animals. From there, you may enjoy one of the nicest views of any city you visit. After a long day of work, relax in one of our cottages in Lemesos. If you want to be on the safe side, take a photo from your plane's window. However, if you are seeking a thrilling, exhilarating, and unforgettable experience, then Cyprus Fly Adventures is the place to go.
