Welcome to our charming English cottage in Gorssel, a special place where peace, space, and atmosphere come together. The cottage has been decorated with great care and has a warm, rustic feel. The cottage is situated on a beautiful 3-hectare property, where everyone can enjoy the outdoors. In addition to our farm, the grounds also feature a horse boarding facility and various amenities for the horses. From the cottage, you look out over the meadows and immediately experience a sense of space. You can walk right into the beautiful forests, and Zutphen and Deventer are also easily accessible by bike. The village of Gorssel has plenty to offer as well. You can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the restaurants, and a visit to Museum More is definitely worth your while. The charming cottage, the rural property, the horses, and the wooded surroundings make this place fantastic—not just for us, but for you as well. We look forward to welcoming you to Gorssel!
Nature and surroundings
- There are places where the landscape seems to be more than just a collection of trees, meadows, and sandy paths. Gorssel is one such place. Anyone walking here will quickly notice that the landscape tells its own story—a story of old estates, stately avenues, beautiful forests, and open heathlands. Miles of sandy paths lined with centuries-old trees that have been here far longer than the people walking along them today. There’s something timeless about the heath. In the summer, the fields turn purple when the heather blooms. In the fall, they take on warm, reddish-brown hues, and in the winter, the landscape can seem almost still.

After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €100.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
