Step aboard our unique and one-of-a-kind vacation home on the water and find yourself surrounded by nature, water, and an oasis of tranquility. Here, stress and the hustle and bustle quickly become a thing of the past. Rent our nostalgic vacation home on the water in Limburg, and let your vacation begin! Our houseboat is perfect for a vacation with the whole family. From the large deck and the living room, you’ll have a great view of the entire pond, where you can enjoy nature on and around the water and cast a fishing line. As dusk falls, you can spot the kingfisher hunting for its evening meal from one of its favorite fishing spots along the water’s edge. When the weather is nice, bats fly high above your head, hunting for insects. Harmony, simplicity, tranquility, respect for nature, and “being one” with nature are central here!
Nature and surroundings
The houseboat is located in the middle of a protected nature reserve. The landscape here is gently rolling and almost flat. This is the narrowest part of the Netherlands. The Meuse River once flowed through here, and to this day, the water in this gravel pond is directly connected to the Meuse. In the spring, you’ll see beautiful blossoms, budding greenery, and newborn animals. In the summer, the lovely, cool water invites you to take a refreshing dip in the clean water covered with water lilies. From the boat, you’ll see many water birds such as cormorants, little grebes, and moorhens. But there are also plenty of frogs, beautiful insects, and a beaver has even been spotted. The pond is home mainly to carp, but also roach and tench. Feel free to cast a line or hop on one of the two SUPs and paddle to the other side—or look for swan mussels in the shallow water!

Great place to stay for nature lovers. A wonderful place to unwind.
Super Unterkunft für Naturliebhaber. Eine toller Ort zum abschalten.
A really beautiful, quiet location. You have the entire property to yourself. Everything we needed was there, and there was a great terrace in front of the houseboat. I highly recommend it.

2 prachtige karpers gevangen!

The pond is very nice only the fish stock is on the meager side.
De vijver is heel mooi alleen het visbestand is aan de magere kant.
A moment of peace.
Een moment van rust.
