Nature, fresh air, silence and privacy. A nature house in the true sense of the word. In a unique location, in the middle of the woods near Beekbergen you will find our cottage. The cottage is located on the back part of a fenced private estate of several acres in size. The cottage has a small bathroom, separate toilet, 3 cozy bedrooms with good beds that are already made for you, a well-equipped kitchen, underfloor heating and a lovely wood stove. From your house you can walk or cycle straight into the forest. Have your binoculars or camera ready because chances are good that your path will be crossed by deer, roe deer, boar or foxes. Badgers and pine marten are regularly spotted and bird watchers are also in for a treat. To store your bicycle, you can use a lockable space on the premises. Take your flashlight with you because at night it really is pitch dark here! The cottage is equipped with fiber optic internet.
Nature and surroundings
Above all, this cottage is a fantastic place to unwind and relax in your own piece of nature. And an excellent base from which you can discover what the Veluwe has to offer. In the immediate vicinity are numerous hiking trails, clog paths, cycling and MTB routes and bridle paths. One of the entrances to Hoge Veluwe National Park, where you will also find the Kröller Müller museum, is in the neighboring village of Hoenderloo, a 10-minute drive away. The beautiful Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen are worth a visit and are about 25 minutes away by car. The stately Apeldoorn with Het Loo Palace and the Apenheul is about 15 minutes by car. In Beekbergen itself, a visit to the VSM (Veluwse Stoomtrein Maatschappij) should not be missed. And in the summer months you will find a cozy night market in the village on Thursday evenings. Within walking and biking distance you will find several restaurants, from simple to special.
